ABOUT US

Sohojogi Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing all 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the rural and underserved regions of Bangladesh. Through collaboration with local communities, the foundation works to implement sustainable solutions, and empower marginalized populations. With a strong focus on education, we support orphanages, underdeveloped schools, and madrasas in remote areas of Bangladesh to ensure that children and students are not left behind. At the same time, our initiatives address every SDG—including poverty, hunger, health, gender equality, clean water, clean energy, decent work, innovation, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace and justice, and strong partnerships—so that together we can create lasting positive change and build a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for Bangladesh’s most vulnerable communities. By aligning our projects with this global framework, we ensure that development is both holistic and long-lasting. Our approach combines sustainable solutions with community empowerment. We collaborate with local populations to implement projects that improve living standards, protect the environment, and create opportunities for growth. From supporting education in remote schools and orphanages, to addressing healthcare needs, promoting clean energy, and strengthening social welfare, we work to ensure that no one is left behind. At Sohojogi Foundation, development is not seen as temporary aid but as a pathway to permanent transformation. By integrating social responsibility, innovation, and the SDGs into every initiative, we aim to build a future where vulnerable communities in Bangladesh can thrive with dignity, equality, and opportunity.
